OG.Art is a platform and a launchpad for dynamic NFT art collections and a completely new approach to creative collaboration.
Our dynamic NFTs can grow, breed, fuse, and react to blockchain or IRL events, even after they are initially bought. Collectors can interact with their dNFTs and thus keep developing them - potentially forever.
All projects on the platform interconnect, forming a creative ecosystem and a super community of artists and collectors, justly governed by DAOs. We invite traditional and crypto-native artists to join us in building projects based on new technology and community interaction.
OG.Art's origins lie in the OG:Crystals project. This dynamic NFT collection is a collaboration between Michael Joo and Danil Krivoruchko with production and tech support by Snark.art.
OG: Crystals is a collection of 10,301 dynamic NFTs. Each crystal is unique and generated by an algorithm based on the owner's wallet ID, holdings, and transaction history. Eventually, these will form a physical REEF, a collective, tangible embodiment of each individualized crystal.
In terms of success, OG: Crystals were exhibited at the Hermitage, the largest museum in the world, in 2021. They also became one of the top-5 art projects on OpenSea, earning $4.2 million in primary sales and $9 million in secondary sales, all whilst gaining significant press coverage and traction on social media.
This reception demonstrates the potential of dynamic forms of art that are based on blockchain technologies. The method we developed to create these OG: Crystals and the community formed around the project inspired us to work together to form our platform, a place where everyone involved becomes an artist.
